Sex With The Ex (VR Visual Novel)

Over the last few months, I've been experimenting non-stop. I'm not happy with the quality and framerate I had been getting on the Quest 2 using high-poly models. So, I started playing around with pre-rendered 360 images and videos. The problem is that a single second of animation takes hours to render. So, I've been searching for a way to be able to render a lot of frames in a short time period. I discovered flat 3D rendering and decided I really liked the look. It isn't as immersive as full 360 but is more immersive than traditional 2D images and video. The really awesome part is that I can render about 60 frames with this style in the time it takes me to do one frame the other way. 

The real question is, does anyone else think this is cool? Could this be used for an entire Visual Novel? Are certain scenes being rendered in a different style immersion breaking, or nice little treats? 

I'm hoping some of you can help me answer those questions.
